Welcome to PublixThe third annual FORTUNE 500 “Top 100 Employment Brands Report” is out and author WilsonHCG ranked Publix 39th overall and first among food and drug retailers. Based in Tampa, FL, WilsonHCG is a global talent solutions leader.  The annual evaluation and ranking of Fortune 500 companies is based on how well they brand themselves to potential employees based on six key employment branding indicators.

As the labor market tightens, companies face intense competition for talent. In order to attract new associates, strategic employment branding efforts are critical.  Attracting top talent, training strong associates and identifying the next generation of leaders are among top concerns for corporate executives in U.S. companies these days, WilsonHCG noted in a press release today.

“The companies that will win at attracting and retaining employees are those that build a great employment brand, and the organizations that ranked highest in our report demonstrate the type of participation, engagement and transparency that’s required to stand out as a top employer in today’s competitive job market.”

Publix, the nation’s largest associate-owned company, is proud to center its employment branding efforts around its positive culture and mission as a responsible citizen in the communities in which we operate. WilsonHCG’s recognition is one of several recent employment brand awards Publix has earned.

Publix operates in six states and employs more than 185,000.  Visit this page to apply for employment in one of our stores. For job openings among our corporate, distribution, manufacturing, industrial maintenance or IT areas, start your search here.
