My daughter is 15 and looking for a job for the summer. Will you be hiring any employees like this?

Our youngest associates begin passing along our Publix culture at the age of 14 as front service clerks (baggers), cashiers, and floral associates. It depends on the needs of each particular store. My suggestion is to have your daughter apply in person at a store Job Application Center kiosk, then head to Customer Service, ask to speak to and introduce herself to a manager and let him or her know she’s got your support, and why she would make a great Publix associate. She can also ask if he/she has or forsees any openings. If transportation is not an issue, she can repeat the conversation with managers at other stores nearby too, in case one of them has openings that the store at which she applied does not. She’d just want to inform those other managers at which store she applied. I hope this helps, Sharon and please wish your daughter best of luck from me.
