There’s a lot to enjoy when it comes to drinking beer, from the flavoring to the ingredients. We offer hundreds of beers available in your local store. While finding your favorite flavor profile can be an adventure, pairing your beer with recipes can be just as much of an experience. We’ve taken the guesswork out of pairing foods with your favorite beers. Check out our guide to pairing beer with some complementary Publix Aprons recipes. Here are three of our favorites to get you started.

Stouts tend to have a dark coloring and roasted, nutty flavors. Most stouts have a more intense flavor as the beer is reduced. The flavors in your stout is a perfect complement to our Salmon-Sausage Coddle recipe.

Pilsners typically have a crisp taste and vary on the bitterness scale depending on the pilsner chosen. They normally have a spicy herbal or floral flavor that pairs well with our Cashew Apricot-Glazed Chicken with Rice and Broccoli Slaw.

India pale ales, or IPAs, are known for their strong and bitter hoppy flavors, but a slight malt sweetness plays a supporting role in the beer as well. To balance those flavors, try pairing your IPA with our Thai-Style Pork Noodle Bowl.

Jackie J. became a Publix associate in 2017 after deciding to take her love of food to the next level. She began working with the Social Media team at that time and she immediately fell in love with life at Publix. In her spare time, she bakes to relax and creates yummy morsels for friends and family to munch on. When she isn’t working, you can probably find her playing with her cat and dog (Nila and Oreo), at a theme park or watching a Harry Potter Movie Marathon.
