Fall is here and we’re more than ready for cooler weather so we can enjoy some warm, freshly brewed tea. We put together a guide for how to add the fall flavors we all love to your tea. As a bonus, these DIY fall teas are made using ingredients you likely already have in your pantry or spice rack. Here’s how we’re spicing up our standard Publix Black Tea Bags this season.

Pumpkin Spice Milk Tea

Is it really fall if we don’t start with a pumpkin spice option? We don’t think so! To make Pumpkin Spice Milk Tea, first brew your favorite black tea, as stated on the box. While the tea steeps, place ½ teaspoon of pumpkin spice and 1 teaspoon of agave, or your favorite sweetener, into a small bowl and whisk together. Add 4 ounces of the brewed tea into a cup, then add 4 ounces of warmed milk on top. Pour combined pumpkin spice and agave into the drink and mix. Top with your favorite whipped topping and garnish with freshly ground nutmeg.

Aromatic Honey Citrus

You’ll be sure to get the flavors of fall with this tea. Honey helps sweeten it, while lemon adds some zip to the flavor. To start, brew black tea as stated on the box. After your tea steeps, add 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and lemon zest, to taste, to get an aromatic autumn tea. If you’d like the tea to be a bit sweeter, go ahead and add your sweetener of choice.

Iced Cinnamon Apple

If you’re still experiencing warmer temperatures, you may want to try this iced tea option. Start by brewing your black tea as stated on the box. Fill a glass with ice and pour 4 ounces of the brewed tea and 4 ounces of apple juice. Finish the mix by adding in a few apple slices, whole cinnamon sticks and your favorite sweetener, if desired.
