Since 1957, our Bakery has been making several varieties of bread from scratch. Some of the recipes we use have never changed over the years. Using the same bread-making techniques from our beginning is essential in achieving our delicious fresh baked quality everyone has come to love.

Prepared using Publix’s original recipe, our bakers take pride in bringing this bread to life. Our Italian Five Grain Bread contains cracked wheat, barley, oats, millet and sunflower and flax seeds. You can taste and see the difference with this bread’s soft texture, crunchy crust, toasted seeds and hearty grains. You’ll find this to be a scrumptious addition to pasta dinners and a great sandwich bread. Try dipping it in a mixture of olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a flavorful appetizer.

White Mountain BreadWhite Mountain Bread

Baked fresh every day, with a perfect eggshell crust and moist interior, the tender texture of this bread will keep you coming back for more.  White Mountain Bread is versatile and works well with any meal. Our crusty French bread is oh so magnifique! Every day we make it from scratch and bake the loaves to perfection. Tips for Storing Fresh Baked Bread

  • Slice as needed; unsliced bread stays fresh longer.
  • Eat within two days of purchase.
  • Store at room temperature, not in the refrigerator.
  • Freeze up to two weeks in a freezer bag; remove as much air as possible.
