However, one thing that hasn’t changed is the high-quality, scratch-made breads found in our Publix Bakery. Our bakery started in 1957, and we’ve been making bread from scratch ever since. Today we offer more than a dozen scratch-made varieties, including some of those original recipes. We’re proud to say our bakers have used the same traditional bread-making techniques for more than 50 years to make all our fresh breads and rolls.
So, what’s the key to making our delicious bread? Artisan craftsmanship. Whether it’s light and airy or dense and chewy, soft or crunchy on the outside, and always incredibly flavorful, we strive to offer the best bread.
