Spring/Summer Wedding

Sparkling Wine Moscow Mule


  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chilled dry sparkling wine
  • Lime slice, for garnish

Tennessee Lemonade


  • 1 ounce whiskey
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce sour mix
  • 4 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • Lime or lemon wedge, for garnish



Spring Sangria


  • 2 (750-mL) bottles fruity red wine (such as pinot noir, shiraz, or beaujolais)
  • 3 (12-oz) bottles ginger beer (or 4 1/2 cups ginger ale)
  • 3 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 4 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur (or orange juice)
  • 8 cups ice

Mojito Refresher


  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2–3 ounces gold rum
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 ounces club soda
  • Lime slices and mint leaves, for garnish

Whiskey Egg Nog


  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 vanilla bean pod, split with seeds removed (or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg, plus more for garnish
  • 5 eggs, separated
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup whiskey

Apple Rum Sparkler


  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 ounces dark rum
  • 1 ounces apple juice
  • 2 ounces prosecco sparkling wine
  • Apple slice, for garnish
  • Mint, for garnish

Cranberry Sangria


  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (750-mL) bottle fruity red wine
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup brandy (optional)

Zinfandel Spiked Hot Cocoa


  • 3/4 cup unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup red Zinfandel wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Shaved chocolate (optional)
