As we learn new hacks or tricks throughout our lives, we begin to apply them to things we do every day. Baking is a stress reliever for some, a good way to spend time alone or a fun way to spend time with your loved ones baking together. For some, baking is stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. That’s why applying these hacks to your routine is a must.
Store cake with slices of bread. The bread will harden, but the cake will stay soft.
Bake your cookies in muffin tin to keep a perfectly round shape.
Use an empty water bottle to separate egg yolks without the mess. Simply squeeze the air from the bottle, place over egg yolk, and release pressure. This will suction the yolk into the bottle.
Place a paper plate over mixers to control splatter.
Cut your cake perfectly with non-flavored dental floss.
Use a heating pad to help cold dough rise more quickly when you don’t have time to wait.
Dry cake pops in a strainer to avoid a sticky mess and help dry the pops evenly.
Baking seems a little easier already! What are some of your favorite baking hacks? Share them with us in the comments below.
