Our corporate registered dietitians and our Aprons® team are back to share some great snack ideas for your children — or for when you’re on the go. Need something easy, quick and convenient? Check out these snacks that are easy for you to throw together.

Snacks for Children

A lot of children need a morning and afternoon snack to keep them going. Here are some ideas that will make you and your child look forward to snack time!

  • Whole grain cereal and bite-size whole wheat crackers
  • Grapes
  • A multigrain toaster waffle topped with GreenWise almond butter and a mashed banana​
  • Mini avocado toast

On-the-go Snacks

Snacking on the go will keep you energized throughout the day and can hold you over until your next meal. Try choosing snacks that will curb your hunger but also give you energy and the nutrients you need. Keep your day in control while you’re on the go with some of these smart snacks.

  • Combine your favorite nuts, like almonds and unsalted cashews, with dried cranberries.

Office Snacks

Want to switch up your snack routine at work and need more choices? Eating different combinations of foods can be very satisfying and help to curb hunger. EatRight.org also suggests snacking on fruit as a way to satisfy a craving for something sweet.
