Growing up in Central Florida has turned me into a theme park junkie with a lot of experience packing a bag for a day of adventure. Outside the basic combo of sunglasses, phone and wallet, here are some essentials that you won’t regret bringing with you.
Water Bottle
Bringing a water bottle will be a lifesaver! Not only will it save you some money, but it will come in handy in more ways than one. If you ask, most food stands that sell iced drinks will give you cups of ice and water that you can use to fill up your water bottle throughout the day. Not only will this give you easy access to free cold water that can be sealed, but your bottle can also double as a cold pack on the back of your neck to cool yourself down.
First Aid
Packing your own mini first aid kit will probably come in handy throughout your trip. Depending on where you’re going, it’s a good idea to pack a poncho just in case you get caught in the rain or plan to go on water rides. Plastic bags for electronics and a change of socks are also good ideas for wet rides.
Remember to always check the website for the park you’re going to. Some parks don’t allow certain outside items like food over a certain size or drinks.
