Publix curb appeal

Welcome to The Publix Checkout — Beyond the Aisles with Your Favorite Supermarket.
The Publix Checkout blog was created with you in mind. We wanted to create a fresh and inspiring way to engage with you – our customers. We’re excited to take you beyond the aisles to show you why we’re more than just a store!

When you come to The Publix Checkout, you’ll enjoy informative posts about delicious recipes, community initiatives, sustainability ideas, and tips to help you with topics ranging from holiday entertaining to health and wellness. In addition, company experts contribute their knowledge to posts about the services we provide, the products we sell, and the people behind them.

One of the many lessons learned from our founder George Jenkins, is “Invest in Others”.  This is a philosophy we continue to implement today. Making connections and building relationships with our customers are two of the ways we invest in others and support our mission of being the premier quality food retailer in the world, and The Publix Checkout is just the place to do that.

We want to continue connecting with you, and can’t wait for you to join the conversation.

Our Publix receipt included an invitation to enter a survey with a very generous prize. Perhaps I’m not very competent with using web sites but that one kept reverting to Dollar General Stores and the interface didn’t feel very friendly. Perhaps the web site owner could be persuaded to work on that

I went to the Publix at the Shoppes at Peacher’s Mill today. As I was walking in, I saw a customer having problems with his car; the battery had died. An employee went and got his own car and jumped the the customers car. This is the second time I have seen an incident such as this where the employees are going out of their way to help a customer in the parking lot with their car. I was able to take a picture of the event, but cannot find where on your site or fb I can post it.

My hubby works for Publix, we use to live in Lakeland Fl area but Publix moved us up to Myrtle Beach SC almost two years ago to open new stores, but oh my goodness for almost one year I had to suffer without a Publix to shop at , there is truly no other grocery store around the Myrtle Beach SC area that carries the freshest fruit & freshest cuts of meat , please don’t even get me started on customer service . I was totally shocked at the lack of customer service at the competitors stores
Guess living in Florida with tons of Publix stores just had me spoiled .
So happy we now have two stores open on Myrtle Beach with more to come!!!

Love Publix especially my local store at Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach , FL

Just wish Publix would carry more No Sodium or Low Sodium products.
